Paparonni's Concept
Excellence in Motion
Paparonni's Pizza was born out of one man's desire to achieve excellence in a small business model. Pizza was the vehicle. Madison County, Georgia was the market. Somewhere along the way, he came to the realization that it was about much more than making great pizza or operating a successful business.
Ingrained in the spirit of every man is the desire to achieve, to leave a mark, to make a difference. This innate desire crosses all class, ethnic, and even gender lines. Personal satisfaction comes through a sense of significance in what we do and defines who we are. Everyone craves the accolades that accompany winning, and this is usually associated with athletics. However, winning can be experienced each and every day when excellence is attempted and achieved. This is what we do!
The spirit behind Paparonni's has always been the integration of young adults into every aspect of the business operation.
Making a Difference!
At Paparonni's, our vision is about much more than making great pizza....we want to make a difference in and through the young adults we employ. The importance of a positive entry-level job experience in shaping and forging strong character cannot be overstated. At a time when most of modern pop culture impugns or ignores virtue, while elevating and celebrating vice, I believe it is the former and not the latter which builds the type of society in which we all desire to live. In accordance with our vision, we desire to improve our local communities as a youth development program while at the same providing a superior quality pizza at a fair and reasonable price.
We accomplish this through limited hours of operation when compared to most retail franchise outlets. We have chosen to remain closed on Sunday, which guarantees that the staff, as well as the owner will have at least one day a week to rest, attend worship, spend time with family, etc. . Monday hours, as well as a lunch program, are left to the discretion of the owner. (Six days of operation a week should not be attempted until a competent assistant manager is in place, and while each location is different, lunch hours have proven through past experience to require much effort with little reward.) Our business hours have allowed us to maximize our employment of young adults while capitalizing on the high demand of the evening meal hour between 5:00 - 8:00.
